WEDNESDAYS - 3/4/2026 - 4 Weekly Sessions

$119.00

WEDNESDAYS - March 4, 11, 18, & 25

Afterschool Art is a ninety-minute TAB (Teaching Artistic Behaviors) studio experience where young artists explore, experiment, and think like artists. Using the Elements of Art and Principles of Design, students develop a shared vocabulary that helps them talk about what they’re making—and why.

Creativity is viewed as a personal endeavor, guided by curiosity and supported by the materials available in the studio. Those material limits often spark inventive thinking and unexpected solutions. While much of the class is student-directed, we also enjoy moments of traditionally taught, follow-the-leader lessons. These experiences plant creative seeds, build confidence, and celebrate “mistakes” as an essential and valuable part of learning.

Creating art alongside a small group of like-minded peers encourages risk-taking, collaboration, and authenticity in each student’s creative process.

Classes are limited to approximately six students, ages five and up.
